Ingredients
2 cups finely chopped dates
½ cup chopped nuts
½ cup cake flour
½ cup digestive bran
1 cup honey
1 Tbsp melted butter
¼ cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Mix dry ingredients
Stir in the dates and nuts
Mix honey, butter, beaten egg and milk
Add to date – flour mixture and mix well
Pour batter into a 16x26cm baking dish
Bake at 180 C oven for 25 – 30 minutes or until done. Serve with custard.
