1 tin baked beans
1 tin butter beans
3 Tbsp oil
1 medium onion
1 tsp red chillies & garlic masala / ginger garlic masala
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp dhana jeero
Pinch of
2 medium tomatoes
Method:
Fry onion in oil.
Braise masala and spices
Add grated tomatoes and braise
Add beans and simmer for 15 minutes
Add 3 cups of water
Drop dough in pot and cook for 25 minutes on moderate heat.
Dough:
2 cups flour
2 oz butter
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Milk
Method:
To dry ingredients rub in butter
Add beaten egg and milk and make soft dough
Allow to stand for ½ hour before adding to pot.
