BASIC BISCUIT DOUGH
½ I butter
¾ cup icing sugar
½ cup maizena
Method
Beat together till light and fluffy; add ± 2 cups flour to form soft dough
RAFFAELLO BISCUITS
250 g butter
½ cup icing sugar
½ cup oil
½ cup almonds
½ cup pista
½ cup pecan nuts
½ cup maizena
Flour as required
Method:
Cream butter n sugar. Add nuts to mixture. Add mazeina and flour to form soft dough. Roll into balls,_
Bake in 180 degrees oven for about 15 minutes! When cool dip in white melted chocolate and roll in chocolate
NOUGHAT BISCUIT
500 grams butter
1 cup ground almonds (roasted for a nice flavour),
1 cup maizena
1 cup icing sugar
4 cups flour that’s for the biscuit dough
Method
Beat butter, almonds, maizena and icing sugar till creamy, form dough with flour._
Roll out a bit thick and cut out in ovals or whatever shape and bake like normal biscuits.
Nougat
5 oz icing sugar
4 oz honey,
1 oz powdered glucose
2 egg whites
Method
_Beat everything together on double boiler until thick and glossy. Decorate the biscuit sides with chocolate and green pista and pipe with nougat on the top.
COCONUT BISCUITS
½ Ib butter
½ cup oil
1 cup castor sugar
2 cups coconut
1 tblsp cinnamon
1 tsp elachi
1 tsp ground ginger
Method
Beat butter, oil and castor sugar till creamy, add rest of ingredients and make soft dough with enough flour, cut with cutter and decorate with peanuts before baking
CRUNCHIE BISCUITS
½ Ib butter
¾ cup castor sugar
1 ½ cups coconut
1 cup corn flakes (crushed)
½ cup nuts
1 egg
½ tsp baking powder
Method
Beat butter and castor sugar, add rest of ingredients and mix well, form dough with flour, shape and bake. Decorate as desired
MACHINE BISCUITS
250g butter
1 ¼ cup icing sugar
Vanilla essence
Beat above till fluffy and creamy
Then add 2 eggs
And beat for a few minutes
By hand mix in the other ingredients
1 ¼ tsp baking powder
4 level tbsp custard powder
Flour as needed
It’s meant to be soft dough
So don’t add too much flour
Pipe through the biscuit machine
Sprinkle 100 n 1000s on top
Bake 170oc till lightly golden
