3/4 cup butter melted
3 cloves garlic
5 tsps freshly chopped parsley..u can use the dried parsley if fresh is not available
3 tsp mixed dry herbs
2 extra Large eggs
3 Tbsp oil
2 cups lukewarm water
1 packet instant dry yeast..
1 clove garlic crushed
5 cups flour
Half tsp salt
Mix all the ingredients for the Garlic Sauce in a pan and heat until butter has melted
Whisk together the Eggs, oil , water and sugar.
Mix the flour, salt, yeast and garlic in a bowl and add the water mixture
Mix to form a soft dough
Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic
Cover with cling wrap and leave to rise in a warm place until double in volume
Grease a 23cm loose bottomed round tin.
Divide dough into 20/24 small round balls.
Roll these balls in the garlic sauce and arrange them in circle in the prepared tin
Bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown on top and done.
Serve warm with soups or at braais
