Healthy suhoor smoothie recipes (28.07.11)

CEREAL AND BRAN SMOOTHIE
 
2 CUPS LOW FAT MILK
¼ CUP BRAN CEREAL
¼ TSP CINNAMON POWDER
¼ TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
1 MEDIUM APPLE SLICED
BLEND ALL INGREDEINTS TOGETHER IN A BLENDER.
 
BADAAM DRINK RECIPE
 
½ CUP BADAAM
1 ½ CUPS WATER
SUGAR AS REQUIRED
A PINCH OF ELACHIE POWDER
 
SOAK THE BADAM IN WATER OVERNIGHT.

REMOVE THE SKIN AND GRIND IT IN PROCESSOR WITH REQUIRED WATER TO MAKE A PASTE.ADD SUGAR AND CARDAMOM POWDER TO THE PASTE AND MIX WELL.
 
 
DATE YOGURT SMOOTHIE
 
INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUP WHOLE, PITTED DATES
1/2 BANANA
1/2 CUP ORANGE JUICE
1/2 CUP PLAIN LOWFAT YOGURT

COMBINE DATES, BANANA AND ORANGE JUICE IN BLENDER AND PURÉE UNTIL DATES ARE FINELY CHOPPED. ADD YOGHURT AND BLEND.
