Ingredients Syrup
5 cups flour 1 ½ cups sugar
1 tsp nutmeg 1 cup water
1 tsp salt stick cinnamon
4 tblsp butter Boil until thick
2 tblsp oil Cool place in fridge
2 eggs
1 cup water) warm
1 cup milk )
1 pkt instant yeast
¼ cup sugar
Method
1. Sift flour, nutmeg, salt
2. Add butter and oil, rub together until breadcrumbs are formed.
3. Sprinkle yeast & add sugar.
4. Make dough with eggs, milk and water.
5. Allow to rise Punch down
6. Shape into twists, allow to rise
7. Fry in moderate oil until golden brown.
8. Dip into cold syrup.
