[LISTEN] Fehmz Mocktails: Be Prepared to Work Hard to Build Your Business & Make a Success of it

Faizel Patel – 24/12/2020

(Twitter: @FaizelPatel143)

Entrepreneur and owner of Fehmz Mocktails, Fehmida Jordaan says people must be prepared to work hard to build their businesses and make a success of their ventures.

Fehmida was speaking to Radio Islam on Thursday about balancing a fulltime job with building a business in a difficult economic climate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fehmida, commonly known Fehmz says while building a business takes a lot of effort, the COVID-19 lockdown did not make it easy.

“It was a hard few months. But Allah has the most amazing way of working things and He gave us the most incredible year. We thought of different things of how do we change things around, how do we work with our retailers.”

Fehmz says people need to be resilient when building their businesses.

“You have to feel like you love your product enough to know that it’s going to work and its going to continue. So you have to almost keep at it even when the time are hard. So keep advertising, keep spending and telling people about your product and let people understand why they should continue to have your product. It’s not an easy thing to do, but I think if you believe in your product enough, than you do it.”

Fehmz says that while social media is a free way to advertising your business, you have to work hard to build your business.
