INGREDIENTS
225g butter
1 ¼ cup castor sugar
2 ¼ cup self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
4 large eggs
¼ cup warm milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
METHOD
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients in. add milk and vanilla. Beat well. It makes a nice thick batter. Bake in large, deep oven try at 180c for 20 to 25 minutes.
TOPPING
Whisk together 1 litre milk , 4 tblsp maziena and 1 tblsp butter well, and boil on a low heat. Once mixture is thick, add ½ tin condense milk. Pour hot topping over warm cake. Sprinkle cinnamon powder over cake. Let it cool, then cut into squares
