Ingredients :
Bony chicken or chicken fillet chopped in suitable sizes
2 whole elachis
3 cinnamon sticks
15 black peppercorns
1 green chilli
2 tsp butter
1 tsp ginger/garlic masala
1 tsp course salt
½ tsp pepper
Method :
– Wash and drain chicken
– Open out elachi and thinly slice chilli.
– Braise the elachi, cinnamon sticks, whole pepper and chilli in butter.
– Add chicken with the ginger/garlic masala, salt and pepper.
– Add 4 cups of water and cook on medium heat until meat is well done. Add more water if necessary.
– If bony chicken is used, remove bones, flake meat and return to pot.
– Stir in ready-mix packet of mushroom, vegetable, or tomato soup as desired.
