[LISTEN] Muslims Response to French Cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) – A Message to the Entire Universe, Muslims & Non-Muslims

Faizel Patel – 05/11/2020

(Twitter: @FaizelPatel143)

The publishing of caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has hurt Muslims across the across the globe who have a deep love for Islam and the last prophet of Allah.

Sent as a mercy unto mankind, Prophet Muhammad was the greatest human and personality to have ever set foot on earth.

In Muslims response to the French cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and French President Emmanuel Macron’s defence of the publications of the derogatory caricatures and describing Islam as a religion “in crisis” worldwide, Nurul Islam in Lenasia held a programme on Wednesday with esteemed Islamic scholars to disseminate the beauty of Islam and remarkable personality of the leader of all the prophets of Allah (PBUTH).

Speakers included Hazrat Ml Abbas Ali Zubair Ali (db), Hazrat Ml Ebrahim Pandor (db) and Hazrat Mufti Ismail Abduraheem (db).

While all the esteemed personalities conveyed the beauty of Islam and the hurt Muslims are going through by Macron’s comments and the publications of the caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Mufti Abduraheem had a profound message for what he said was “to the entire universe, Muslims and non-Muslims.”

Mufti Abduraheem requested his address to reverberate across the globe and be shared on every platform.

Below is the full speech of Mufti Abduraheem.

Before commencing, I request the audients to send salutations upon our beloved Prophet Muḥammad:

اللهم صل علي سيدنا و مولانا محمد و علي ال سيدنا و مولانا محمد وبارك و سلم

اللهم صل علي سيدنا و مولانا محمد صلاة تُحل به العقد و تُفرّج بها الكرب

I have a few points to make. But due to time constraints I will merely be touching on them for our notice and the notice of the listeners over the air. I request the scholars and professionals in particular to pay attention, whether they are from the Muslim camp or from the non-Muslim camp.

Please bear with me even if takes a few minutes more than usual and listen attentively while turning towards Allāh. It is a question of the ‘Ismat ar-Rasūl r (Innocence of our Prophet r). It is an appeal to mankind at large. Perhaps this is the moment of acceptance for one and all.

At the outset I say:

“O Muslims! You are a selected Ummah of Allāh. He has created you to convey a message. You are accountable only to Allāh and to no one else.”

This is a moment you have to prove that the Prophet r means everything to you. The world should know that you are alive and that the fervour of your Prophet is deeply seated in your heart.

This issue is sensitive and; therefore, it cannot be bypassed lightly by the 1,8 billion Muslim Ummah, nor are they expected to adopt a silent attitude towards it. Certainly, it cannot go unanswered. No one allows people to stifle their Religious Freedom; why should we?”

At the same time, we earnestly request the fair-minded and unbiased non-Muslim listeners, or those to whom my messages will be conveyed, not to distort the material of tonight, and in the same vein to excuse us for our todays response because we expect you also to do the same if Prophet Moses or Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon the two) is insulted, rather we will stand with you. This is one of the million honest an unbiased approach of Islām. Today you should stand with us. Our roots are the same, that is, celestial religions of a monotheistic origin. We are fully aware that fair-minded non-Muslims, who are seeking the truth, are being hoodwinked by the conspirators, who are giving a distorted or misrepresented version of Islām to them. Todays programme will give you a glimpse of that, too.

The Muslims reserve their full rights to voice their opinions in defense of the innocence of their beloved Prophet r, who is dearer to them than the billions of souls on earth, past and present.

Therefore, firstly, we should note the following verse of the Holy Qur’ān in which Allāh has forewarned us explicitly 1500 years ago of the ongoing and unbecoming attitude of the opponents of Islām towards Allāh and His Messenger r:

“Indeed, you (Muslims) will decidedly be tried in your properties and your persons. And you will hear many annoying statements on behalf of those who were endowed with the Scripture before you and on behalf of the polytheists, too. If you persevere with patience and ward-off evil, then indeed that will be a matter of great

First, I touch the issue of Tolerance and Freedom of Speech. I wish to expound both these topics. Please listen carefully.

The first of the two is tolerance and religion: It is amazing to notice how we Muslims are repeatedly reminded of tolerance towards religions while the opponents go about violating the same rule by using offensive language against the Prophet of Islām r and hurting the sentiments of the Muslim Ummah. Where is justice? Or can we conclude that there is ‘something else’ of a worldwide connivance behind the scene that is disturbing them and that is not been expressed?

We address the French government that you have only taken advantage of the tolerance of Islām. After insidiously causing the damage, insulting our Prophet, traumatizing the young boy ‘Abdullāh Anzorof and disturbing the Muslim emotions, you are taking shelter under your double-standard Human Rights policy and the label of tolerance, and now conveniently portraying yourselves as an innocent victim. Where is your humanity?

Contrary to your attitude, listen to the Islāmic message and listen to what my Allāh has to say:

هَا أَنْتُمْ أُولَاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ

“Yes, you (Muslims) are those who love them (People of the Book) while they do not love you, though you believe in all the Scriptures.” (Q: 3:119)

This, and similar other commands of the Qur’ān, speak volumes of the just and unbiased approach of Islām. It tells the Muslims to believe in all the heavenly Books and Prophets without discrimination. Obviously, besides binding the nations, this approach of the Qur’ān strives to unify the human race under a single concept and philosophy until mutual trust is developed. This has been the thrust of the Qur’ān throughout.

Abū Hurairah has reported that the Prophet r said:

كونوا عباد الله إخوانا(O servants of Allāh! Live as brothers.)[1]

The verse makes plain that Allāh is ‘Just’ and loves that the Muslims also should display justice and tolerance in all their social and religious affairs because tolerance is their distinctive mark, even if they are reciprocated differently. (Islām always dominates in all legal and moral spheres of life. Islām is never dominated upon.)

History testifies that never did any Muslim scoff the beliefs of the non-Muslims, insult their Prophets or make derogative statements against their religious personalities. Never do the Muslims recall the names of Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus without adding ‘Alayhis Salām (May peace be on him). Not only are these two Prophets held with high regard by the Muslims, but they are also graded among the five high ranking Messengers of Allāh. The same applies to the Old Testaments and New Testament. Yet these facts are grossly overlooked by the People of the Book.

Freedom of Speech

This is a strategy worked out smartly to serve your agenda. You have conveniently created this lopsided rule so that it can be used particularly against Islām and not against any other religion. This, too, is part of your overall conspiracy. You have planned it for yourselves, knowing well that the Muslims will never use it.

Though you are using the excuse of ‘Freedom of Speech’ against Prophet Muhammad r, we will never use it against any Prophet. In fact, even a remotest of offensive word against Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus (May abundance of tranquillity descent upon them and may they lie in peace wherever they are) will be intolerable to us because we are Muslims, we belong to a divine religion, thus, are bound by the Islāmic obligation of respecting every Prophet. This is why never does the names of Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus slip out from the tongue of a Muslim child without he adding عليه السلام (May peace be upon him) in Arabic. This is the training we give our children which you could not even give your teacher Sumuel. This is food for your thought if you have the appetite to digest it. Does this point not make sense to you and your accomplices?

Freedom of Speech is to be upheld as long as it does not insult the sacredness of any religion, yet you conveniently accuse the Muslims for not appreciating freedom of speech.

Speech adds grace and beauty to a person if said within the bounds; otherwise it is a disgrace to him. He is a numb person. He does not belong to civilised human creation.

A person who possesses an impolite and abusive tongue is called feeble-minded. This is because he does not find scope to be vulgar but in the company of uncivilised or feeble-minded people like himself.

Only people who have no consideration for others stoop so low. They feel no compunction in hurting the sentiments of others.

This is why Muslim authorities have mentioned that despite the rights to freedom of speech and the use of the pen, these two (pen and speech) are not to be used unconditionally.  Freedom is permissible until such times that they are consistent with the norms of ethics, public feelings and principles of religions. Therefore, any statement defaming a religion that may hurt the feelings of its people is not permissible. Such are the  Islāmic ethics that makes Islām a unique religion worth recognizing. It is a religion that advocates consideration for others, honesty and high morals.

The essential factor in freedom of speech is the justice of the heart. If a person’s heart is enriched with justice, his tongue will echo that justice; and if the heart is soiled with injustice, the tongue will echo injustice.

Though the Prophet of Islām had imparted thousands of advices to his Companions, never did he utter a single word injurious to anyone’s feelings. He only disclosed the truth of an event and then left it to the addressees to decide.

This explains that freedom of speech does not mean that a person has a carte blanche to say just whatever he wishes and however he wishes. To consider the sensibilities of the people is equally essential even if there is disagreement in opinion.

We may ask, why is the intelligentsia and why are the serious-minded people in the outside world not asking themselves this question that what is withholding the Muslims from using the same argument of ‘Freedom of Speech’ in retaliation to the French misbehaviour. Why are the Muslims not using abusive language against other Prophets to settle the score?

They would not ask this question because they know that we Muslims will never stoop so low. We are people of honour and are absolved of any blame. We are obliged to respect Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus, no matter how we are reciprocated?

It is the Islāmc principle and our conscience that withhold us from behaving inappropriately. We cannot behave as they have behaved. We are accountable to Allāh. The man-made law of Freedom of Speech will never drive us to sling mud against any Prophet. And let me spell it more clearly to the listeners that it is these types crystal teachings of Islām that have qualified Islām as a world religion. It is a religion divine indeed of which are thankful to Allāh.

Impoliteness makes people behave ridiculously and irresponsibly because they are bound to no human principles.

This is what happens that when impoliteness grips a people, they resort to irrational behaviour and even justify rules that are against human integrity.

The attack on the chaste dressing of our sisters is agitating to the French government, but wearing the mask is not. When they are asked why the difference, they say – although not admittedly of course but by way of guilt – that ‘when we have lost our courteous ways, you cannot have it either.’

Prophet Muḥammad r – the Soul of the Souls

But we tell the French government that because of your level of behaviour you are not even capable of comprehending the noble status and personality of Prophet Muhāmmad r. Let me give you a briefing on him.

History has recorded that during the Dark Ages of the pre-Islāmic era, when all hopes of resuscitating humankind were shattered, Allāh raised the Sun of Prophethood from the Valley of Fārān and the Moon of Apostleship that had settled on Thani‘atul-Widā’, to bring maturity in the thinking and culture of the people,  alter their values of life, salvage them from sinking further and restore hopes in them till Doomsday. Hence, not only did Prophet Muḥammad r succeed in bringing an absolute change in the religious sphere of the Arabs of his age, but he also revolutionised the culture and thinking of the generations succeeding him, which was witnessed by the Byzantines, Sassanids and Indians of those days, as much as he had offered a civilised form of life based on ethics worth observing by people of today.

The nations that were tottering down the path of self-annihilation; he raised them to the heights of glory; and the billions who had turned away from their Creator and were living with no purpose in life other than producing and consuming; he instilled in them Allāh-consciousness.

Allāh said: “O My Messenger r: Offer a peace-plan to My creation for I love them, and convey a potent message to them that their success is only in bowing down to One Allāh and in submitting to the message of Islām. Islām is the religion that will subsist up to Doomsday, no matter how much it will be suppressed or misrepresented. It is a religion of peace for those who would appreciate and make their sojourn of life worth its while.”

Prophet Muḥammad’s r character was immaculate from the day of his birth, to the extent that even before his prophethood, the Arabs used to call him as-Ṣadiq, Al-Amin (the truthful, the trustworthy). They found him to be that ‘Ideal man’ for whom mankind was waiting from centuries. But then, only after he was endowed with prophethood and the Pagan Arabs ‘feared’ that Islām is destined to rise on the scene of the world, they started to oppose him. The fear was ‘Islām’ and not his personality. Take note.

When the Pagans were asked: “When Islām is in favour of mankind, its teachings are crystal and it is the only religion of monotheism that is in existing, then what withholds you from acknowledging it? Will Islām not bring peace to man and will it not draw the multitude close to their Creator?” They said: “It will overthrow our culture and dismantle our game plan.” The secret was given out. i

Testimonies of non-Muslim scholars in favour of the Prophet of Islām

Prophet Muḥammad’s r contribution to mankind and his attainments in this regard is acknowledged even today by the level-minded and wise erudite. They cannot help but admit their indebtedness to this orphan of Amina, who, without a pen in his hand and a tutor on his head educated the unenlightened humanity. Here are a few quotes:

After making a selection of the hundred most influential persons in history and placing the Prophet of Islām on the top of the list, the American writer, Michael H. Hart writes in his THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York:

“My choice of Muḥammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level.”

  1. N. Roy mentioned in his The Historical Role of Islam:

“Muḥammad must be recognised as by far the greatest of all Prophets, before or after him.”

George Bernard Shaw said:

“If a man like Muḥammad were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would lead it the much-needed peace and happiness.”

Diwan Chand Sharma writes in his The Prophets of the East:

“Muḥammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him.”

Bosworth Smith writes in his Mohammad and Mohammedanism:

“He was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope’s pretensions, Caesar without the legions of Caesar: without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue. If ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Mohammed, for he had all the power without its instruments and its supports.”

Hardford writes in his The Muslim World:

“It does not seem too much to say that if anyone changed the course of history, that man was Muḥammad.”

Draper writes in his Conflict Between Religion and Science:

“After being subject for many centuries to vilification, vituperation and ridicule by so-called scholars of the West, it is only now that true light (of this man) has begun slowly and gradually to dawn upon Europe and America, ‘Shall we speak of the man with disrespect when his precepts are, on this day, the religious guide of one-third of the human race?”

John William Draper writes in his A History of the Intellectual Development of Europe:

“Four years after the death of Justinian, in 569 A.D. was born in Mecca, in Arabia, the man who of all men, has exercised the greatest influence on the human race.”

Another elite writes in his Book of Knowledge:

“It is only in recent years that we have come to think differently of Muḥammad and his religion of Islam. But now it is acknowledged that he was an inspired man and that his religion rescued many millions of men from shameful idolatry, and gave them the noble idea of One God.”

I quote Hitti, op. cit,. p 121

“Within a brief span of mortal life, Muḥammad called forth – out of unpromising material – a nation never united before, in a country that was hitherto but a geographical expression; established a religion which in vast areas superseded Christianity and Judaism, and still claims the adherence of a goodly portion of the human race; and laid the basis of an empire that was soon to embrace within its far-flung boundaries the furthest provinces of the then civilized world.”[2]

“Muḥammad possessed that combination of qualities which more than once has decided the fate of empires. While asserting that everlasting truth, he did not engage in vain metaphysics, but applied himself to improving the social condition of the people by regulations respecting personal cleanliness, sobriety, fasting and prayer.”

Our declaration and message to the French government to the point.

Firstly, it is no secret that the offensive language and abusive approach you have employed against Prophet Muḥammad r is not happenstance; rather it is in line with a worldwide agenda against the Word of Allāh and the religion of Islām. This agenda was put into operation after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The Kalimah of لا اله الا الله محمد الرسول الله that was a thorn to the infidels of Makkah in the early days of Islām has become a thorn to the conspirators of today. Their struggle is that we Muslims should change our lifestyle to their depraved lifestyle.

The current event in France has revealed the secrets of your hearts. It will be bitter for you to swallow. But our Allāh fears no one And on His strength I quote Him saying:

قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ

(Indeed, grudge does declare from their mouths; and that what their hearts conceal is worse.” (Q: 3:118)

Let me quote another verse of the Qur’ān to put your mind to rest:

“These people wish to blow off the Light of Allāh with their mouths, though Allāh will deliver His Light to completion, even if the Disbelievers disapprove (it).

He is the One Who sent His Apostle with guidance and the true religion so that He make it prevail over all religions, though the idolaters detest (it). (Q: 61:8,9)

This verse is telling you to stop strategizing against Islam, you will only fail in the final analyses. Leave us to what we are; we have a universal responsibility of a universal religion. When the ‘perfection’ of Islām has been divinely decreed by the Almighty Allāh, it has to be acknowledged as it stands.

Secondly, your barefaced and brazen approach against the most glorious, supreme and chosen Prophet of Allāh, explains that you are uncomfortable with the rise of Islām and have; therefore, made Islām subject of your jealousy.

Thirdly, be informed that the Rights of Allāh transcend the rights of man. To a person, his religious rights are of sentimental value. Therefore, for you to trumpet slogans of ‘world peace’ hypocritically is different from creating an atmosphere and peaceful negotiation without trampling the rights of others. Islām is practically advancing towards peace. This is why you will not find even the weakest of Muslim ever disparaging any Prophet of Allāh or desecrating any religious book. But you are reversing the peace project to realise your personal agenda.

Fourthly, you are accusing the 6 million French Muslims for not integrating with the community, what do you mean by that? Let me tell you what you mean. You mean that why are the Muslims not becoming party of your culture.

Fifthly, had you some percentage of credibility and moral conscience, you would have apologised to the young boy ‘Abdullāh Anzorof instead of making it a worldwide issue and aggravating the matter. Educated people act sensibly. Did you expect the Muslim to take this matter lightly?

Therefore, we call you to apologise to the boy for him being offended by Samuel for launching constantly a vituperate attack against the Prophet of Islām. He was placed in the hands of Samuel to be taught and not to be traumatized. Certainly, this boy could not have reacted under any planning. This was – as reported – a spontaneous reaction to a prolonged period of abusive remarks and offensive approach made against the Prophet of Islām, as reported to us. Young ‘Abdullāh suppressed his ire and tolerated the insults to the furthest he could until he could no more bear it. Was this not bringing distress on a naïve child of that age?

We are aware that in the face of your sinister anti-Islām agenda and your ever-righteous attitude, you will never reconsider what had prompted this young boy to react. But let me express it to you on behalf of this boy that he has proven to you that his Faith and love for the Prophet are not artificial. They are representative of the Imān and Faith of the entire Muslim nation. He being young, how long could he suppress his conscience and allegiance with his Prophet, as against Charlie Hebdo and Samuel Paty who were both grown-ups, who could have gauged the sensitivity of the issue and avoided inciting him and Muslims? Can any right-minded person in your parliament not answer me this question or make a fair comparison?

Where are your wise and matured minded people with whom we could discuss face to face? The problem is that we can discuss and interact with people of reason. But how do we discuss with those who have their own agenda, who sit around round tables and conspire and who are at pains how to defy divine power?

You are answerable to your ego; we are answerable to our Allāh and His Messenger.

Be informed that we are an Ummah lifeful. We have our roots in La ilah Illahhu Muhammadur Rasulullah r, which cannot be shaken even if the universe tumbled ten times.

Our paradigm is one. Our paradigm is Islām.

If you will not apologise, then I will refer to my Allāh: “O Allāh! If they do not realise that this is a divine issue, and if they do not realise that they have trampled on a sensitive ground, then we beseech You pronounce your Decision. No one can overpower You. You have said:

Then when the warner (Prophet Muḥammad) came to them, their aversion only increased –

  1. (Because of their) arrogance in the land – and their sinister plots (also increased). And sinister plots only beset its planners. Are they only waiting for a similar rule that was executed on the former people? You will never find mutability in the line of action of Allāh, and you will never find diversion in the line of action of Allah.

At this stage, we also call those individual who classify themselves as think tanks of world politics to pronounce a conscious judgement on this case of ‘Abdullāh Anzorof that, was Samuel entrusted to educate the child or wound his conscience. Your justice will tell us if there is any tinge of justice left in the world or not.

The injustice met out to the Muslims have become a commonplace these days for no reason other than this that they believe in One Allāh and hold the Prophet as the Messenger of Allāh, yet conveniently the blame is placed at their doorstep that they are not showing tolerance to other religions. This is your height of justice. How can people be blamed for reacting when they are provoked and robbed of their legal rights.

All the above explains that Islām is the religion.

But O Macron and company! Despite all that I have something to present to you and the world population; something you will never regret; and that is Islām. The Qur’ān says explicitly of my Prophet:

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (28)

We sent Prophet Muḥammad as a Messenger to the entire human race to bear glad tiding and warn. But the majority of people do not know.

Prophet Muhammad r had proclaimed to mankind 1500 years ago:

يا ايها الناس قولوا لااله الا الله تفلحوا (O people! Say there is none worthy …)

“Today I am echoing the same to you and the entire human race. May Allāh grant me that sincerity and spirit:

يا ايها الناس قولوا لااله الا الله تفلحوا

I invite you to come forward; Islām is ready to accommodate you. Islām is a common religion that is not restricted to the Muslims. While I am calling you, I call Allāh to be Witness that I not selfish. I did call the world population to Islām. You have a lifespan to consider my call, lest you should say in your next life that you did not receive my invitation. Sure, it looks naïve and simplistic of me to make such a call, but confidently I say that time will speak for itself. I say this with surety that Allāh is making me proclaim it without fear and favour. Only a Muslim can make this type of a call and no one else. This is because a Muslim is convinced that Islām is the religion. You are wise people; I expect you to make a wise decision for your own good. Life has to come to an end one day; let it come in a virtuous way. Islām is yours, and you are of Islām. It is a religion that will bring grace to you and peace on earth today and guard you in your everlasting life. This is not a stage play; it is real for those who wish to know why they are created and Who their Creator is.”

A few words to the Muslim Ummah

  • To my understanding, the current event has unified the Muslim Ummah, brought them closer to the Prophet of Allāh and made them more conscious and dedicated to Islām, which was needed. This will certainly draw the pleasure of Allāh and jolt the Muslim Ummah from its lethargy.
  • This event has made it evident to one and all that the love of Prophet Muḥammad r is grounded in the heart of every Muslim, hence, we will defend his honour at every cost and will do everything within our means to preserve his love. His dignity cannot be compromised. The ‘Ismah (innocence) of our Prophet is something that we live for and die with. It is not anything superficial that can be erased so easily. His love is impressed in the deeper recess of our hearts and soaked in every fiber of our body. The more they will vainly strive to scratch it, the more it will it take roots.

It is an awakening call for the Muslim Ummah. Every Muslim individual – as a follower of Prophet Muḥammad r – is duty-bound to perform his role. This is your share at this crucial moment of Muslim history. Only Allāh He will favour you with positive results and only He will reverse the tables through the blessings of

  • You should emulate the Sunnah of Rasūlullāh r and raise the Word of Allāh until it becomes manifest to ‘those’ who are constantly at pains to malign the cause of Islam that their endeavours will not only fail, but will even bear reverse results. That is how Divine Will works. Presently the love for the Prophet r globally is surging in the hearts of the Muslim Ummah and will only increase as time goes by. This is because he was a living Prophet and has left behind a living Ummah. The lives of the billion Muslim are cheaper in the sight of Allāh than the honour of Prophet Muḥammad r because he is Rasūlullāh r – the Messenger of mercy.

He is our Prophet صلي الله عليه و سلّم who deserves unreservedly our compliance and submission. We will stand with him and his cause at every cost.

O Muslims! Islām was an unknown religion, they brought it on the map of the world. They are testifying through negative admission that you are pearls. You need further culturing to shine in the markets of the world.

So, why should you lose courage against their strategies when Allāh has proclaimed:

وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

“O Muslims! Do not lose heart nor grieve; and (eventually) only you will be exalted if you remain true Believers.” (Q: 3:139)

Second most important thing is that each Muslim must resolve firmly to recite one million minimum Salutations upon Rasūlullāh r in whichever period of time you can. Convey this message to others as well. The simplest Salutation will be This can be done during our mundane activities, too, on an average of fifty times a minute. This will be the immediate dividends for the current state of affair.

Let mankind now that we are First and last Muslims; we are the adherents of Islām and we are the devoted followers of Prophet Muhammad. Nothing will shift us from our resolve of which we are proud.

Allāh has endowed you with Iman and Islām – a strength behind a strength.

It is no point in reacting emotionally and then relaxing for the rest of the days. You have to rise to make it plain to them that you are vibrant Ummah. Like the sun you will rise here and set there, rise there and set here.

O my Nabi! Let your smile change the world, but let the world not change your smile.
