3 cups flour
2 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp fine salt
1 pkt instant yeast
2 Tbsp ghee
1 egg
½ cup milk
½ cup water
Rub ghee into dry ingredients.
Beat egg, milk and water together
Add liquids to dry ingredient to form a dough.
Allow to rise for 15 min.
Roll into 180C
Brush top with garlic butter.
Filling:
500g cubed chicken Breast
1 medium onion
1 cubed tomato
2 Tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp salt
Pepper
1 tsp green chillies
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp ginger garlic
Pinch of Arad
Crushed jeeru
Lemon juice
1 Tbsp chilli sauce
3-4 tbsp ghee.
Finely chop onion
Place all the ingredients except ghee in a pot and cook well on ghee in a pot and cook well on low heat until almost cooked.
Then add ghee and cook till done.
Cool and add dhania before filling into a pita bread.
Salad:
Combine diced green peppers, cucumber’s, carrots, onions and tomatoes.
Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Schwarma:
Slit pita bread
Add chicken filling
Fill with salad.
