@cooking_made_simple_

Ingredients
1/2kg steak, clean, cut into tiny cubes, rinse.
Boil 1 & 1/2Tblsp sago in water on the stove for a few minutes. Remove from stove, strain & add to steaks when cooked.
1 small onion, finely chopped, 3Tblsp Canola Oil

Ready cut pie dough @pastry_delights_sa

Spices: 1 & 1/2 tsp ginger & garlic with red chillies, 1tsp extra special chilli powder, 2Tblsp steak & chops spice @robertsonspice, 1/2Tblsp BBQ Spice @robertsonsspice, 1/2tsp ground red chillies (or to taste preference), 1/2tsp crushed red chillies, 2Tblsp Steers BBQ Sauce (@steers.sa), 1/2tsp fine salt (or to taste), 1/2tsp fine black pepper. In a bowl, add the steak & add the above spices. Mix spices & steak well. Cover & set aside. Chopped dhania to add to steak filling when cooled.

Method
In a medium size pot add oil & onions. Braise on for few minutes on a low heat. When onions start to change colour, add marinated steak cubes & cooked (1/2 an hour) or till steak is soft & cooked through. *Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water during cooking, stirring occasionally during cooking. Add sago when cooked. Mix well. Add dhania when steaks are cooled. Fill pies, brush with egg, sprinkle sesame seeds. Now freezer suitable. Or bake in a preheated oven on 220 degrees for 20 minutes or till pies are baked (golden brown). Serve with a savoury sauce of choice. Enjoy ❤
