6 to 8 thin skinned lemons (must be thin skin ¼ cup coarse salt.
¾ cup vinegar.
slice lemon thinly add salt n vinegar and leave for 3 to 4 hrs.
drain and dry them
musnt be too dry.
make thick syrup with:
2 cups sugar.
1 ½ cups water.
pinch cream of tartar.
red food colouring.
when syrup done remove from stove and let it be lukewarm and add your lemons. mix nicely bottle it
