Red sauce
3 big red peppers
2 tblsp methi masala
½ cup tomatoe sauce
1 cup lemon juice
3 tblsp red chilli powder
½ cup vinegar + 1 tsp salt
¼ cup chilli sauce
2 tblsp maziena
Method:
•Soak peppers with chilli powder salt and methi masala in vinegar for 1 hour.
•Stir the maziena with lemon juice on stove over medium heat till thick
•Allow to cool
•Liquidize all the ingredients together till smooth..
Samoosa sauce
1 tblsp oil                                                Â
1 onion chopped
4 red chillies                                          Â
4 cloves garlic
½ cup mint leaves                                  Â
½ cup dhania chopped
½ cup apricot jam                                 Â
1 ½ cups tomato sauce
½ cup vinegar                                         Â
1tsp paprika
Salt to taste                                        Â
1 tbslp pepper sauce  Â
Heat oil, fry onion, chillies and garlic till soft.
Remove heat.
Add the rest of ingredients and liquidize. Bottle and store in fridge
Mint sauce
½ cup mayonnaise                                         Â
¼ bunch mint leaves
½ tsp salt                                                     Â
¼ bunch dhania
1 green chilli                                                  Â
chopped olives
1 tsp lemon juice                                           Â
2 cloves garlic
Liquidize the mint leaves, dhania, garlic, salt, chilli, lemon juice and a few olives.. Pit taken out.
Add to mayonnaise and mix well. Pour in serving bowl.
Garnish with chopped olives and serve with savouries.. Â
