A collection of savouries made with breads (10.05.18)

French bread savoury

1 loaf French bread
2 cups cooked steak strips.. you could use chicken as well
1 cup cubed fried polony
1 cup Vienna, sausages cubed and fried
2 tblsp tomatoe sauce
2 tblsp mustard sauce
3 tblsp steers peri peri sauce
2 tblsp mayonnaise
2 to 3 potatoes chips fried
1 tsp chillie powder
1 cup mozzarella cheese

1. Slit French bread horizontally
2. Combine steak/chicken, polony Vienna and sausages and add all the sauces
3. Place the steak mixture on the French bread
4. Top with fried chips add more sauces of your choice
5. Cover chips with mozzarella cheese and close the bread
6. Wrap in foil and heat in oven on 200dgc

 

TRIANGLE BREAD SAVOURY

4 TO 5 SLICES BREAD …CUT THE CRUSTS OUT
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 jalapenos de-seeded and cut up or green chilles to taste
1 cup cubed polony , cold meat or chicken or steak
Mix the above ingredient together in a bowl.
Take the bread and put filling and fold bread into a triangle pressing all the ends tightly.
Then take.. 1 cup milk
3 eggs
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Some chopped dhania
Whisk together and dip filled bread triangles into this egg mixture and fry in shallow oil/butter .

VARIATION TO THIS RECIPE..
USE FILLING OF CHOICE..
THEN ROLL OUT BREAD.. FILL AND AND ROLL LIKE A SWISS ROLL
DIP IN EGG AND BREADCRUMBS
