Steamed English vegetables
Ingredients:
Sweetcorn
Carrots
Butternut
Sweet potato
Baby marrrow
Robot peppers
Method:
Steam veggies with salt, pepper and butter till half way steamed. Empty veggies into a pyrex dish and add about 4 to 5 tblsp sweet chilli sauce to the vegies, pour olive oil and mix well, crumble feta cheese over and bake for about 20 min.
Nachos recipe
• Layer 1 big pkt Doritos on a Pyrex dish
• Mix together 1 smooth cream cheese with little mayonnaise to thin it out.
• Pour into a plastic bag and drizzle over Doritos.
• Cube 1 tomato, 1 onion, 1 avocado finely and season with salt and pepper.
• Put mixture on top of cream cheese, top with grated cheese and bake till cheese is melted
Avocado salad
Layer:
Lettuce, avacado, green apple, green pepper, cucumber and onion rings (optional) on a platter, everything must be sliced then pour over dressing.
Dressing:
4 tblsp mustard sauce
3 tblsp mayonnaise
1 tblsp honey
½ tsp black pepper
1 tblsp vinegar
2 tblsp lemon juice
Mix everything together.
Make vagaar with:
2 tblsp tal
Handful chopped almonds, sliced garlic and olive oil, fry quickly in pan and sprinkle over salad.
Macaroni mozarella kebabs
1 ½ cups chicken mince
1 cup mix vegetables
1 cup macaroni (boiled)
Process mix veg, macaroni, 2 red chillies, greens, garlic, juice of ½ lemon . Once processed mix with mince and add 3 tbl olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon pepper, 1 tsp garlic lemon and parsley seasoning. mix everything nicely together. Cube mozarella cheese and Form mince around it, dip in egg and breadcrumbs. (breadcrumbs, fine vermicelli, tal and dry parsley) fry till golden and serve.
Butter net and spinach
Butter nut
Cube butternut, steam with salt & 4T sugar when soft mash with butter & a little fresh cream. Can add more sugar afterwards if required.
Spinach
Sauté 1 onions in ghee add salt, pepper, green chillies, little garlic & braise spinach till done. In a separate pot make a white sauce with butter, flour & milk when sauce thickens add 1tsp aromat, 3T mayonnaise& half a cup grated cheese mix in spinach & serve side by side
Rogni nann recipe
4 cups flour
1 pkt 10g instant yeast
1 cup yoghurt (room temp)
1 egg
2 tblsp ghee
1 tsp salt
2 tblsp sugar
Lukewarm milk to make dough
• Beat egg and yoghurt together.
• Sift flour, salt and sugar, rub in ghee and add rest of ingredients and make soft dough.
• Leave to rise
• Roll out thick, brush ghee and sprinkle with tal.
• Bake till done.
• Rogni naan can be grilled on tawa.
