2 cups bulgar wheat
I cup oil dhaal
2 tbl Meilie meal
Quarter cup onion fried till golden brown and crisp
1 level tsp roasted whole jeeroo
2 whole green chillies
I whole cinnamon stick
Half a cup melted ghee
Method
Soak bulgar wheat. Rinse well till water runs clean. Boil oil dhaar with quarter tsp salt. Quarter tsp arad,cinnamon sticks and green chillies until very soft. Add bulgar wheat with half tsp jerroo to oil dhaal until. bulgar is soft. Dilute and stir Mielie meal in quarter cup water until smooth.Add to the burka mixture. Warm ghee and jeeroo slightly. Pour over burkoo stir well
