CHEESE AND ONION FILLING
2 cups grated cheese
2 medium onions chopped
1 tsp white pepper
½ tsp salt or to taste
Lemon juice
METHOD
Add all the ingredients together and mix
CHEESE AND CORN FILLING
1 cup grated cheese
1 ½ cups whole corn
1 tblsp oil
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp fine mustard
1 dessertspoon mayonnaise
1.2 cup water
Lemon juice
METHOD
Braise corn in oil with salt, pepper, mustard and mayonnaise. Add water and cook on medium heat until all the water has evaporated. Add lemon juice. Remove and allow to cool. Add grated cheese. Mix well. Ready to fill.
VARIATION
Use all the ingredients for the previous filling.
Include: 1 dessertspoon crushed green chillies
1 tsp dhania
½ tsp crushed garlic
1.2 cup greens – spring onions and dhania
Add chillies, dhania and garlic and braise corn. Follow instructions. Add green when mixture is cool
