Chocolate Nut Cakes (28.06.07)

Cakes and Biscuits

Ingredients:

125g butter

½ cup golden syrup

1 egg

¼ cup chopped nuts

¼ cup chopped chocolate

½ tsp vanilla essence

Pinch of salt

1 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

Method:

1. Beat together butter and golden syrup

2. Add the egg and mix well

3. Add chopped nuts, chocolate and essence

4. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well

5. Drop batter into small cone cups and bake at 180° for 15-20 mins.

6. Cool and coat with melted chocolate.

7. Sprinkle chopped nuts and gold dust or dust icing sugar.
