Curried Impala Liver (23.08.18)

Soo..wen u have a family that love hunting
U learn to whip up a quick delicious dish..using wat u have on hand..specially fresh liver for breakfast

500 g cubed liver..u can use sheep ..ox ..or any other..this was fresh Impala

1 medium to large chopped or thickly sliced onion..fried in ghee and butter mixed..till pinkish..add in 2 slit green chillies..few curry leaves..1 tsp ginger garlic..1 tsp chilli paste


Braise then add in the cubed liver
Add 1 tblsp lemon juice or vinegar
1 tsp salt..or aromat to taste
1 tsp packo or rajah roasted masala
Half tsp tumeric
Half tsp crush chilli
Half tsp chilli pdr..kashmiri if u hav
Half tsp dhana jeeraa
Quarter tsp pepper
Braise well on high

It must fry..now add in half to 1 cup boiling water..mix and close lid..leave to cook

Peel and chop 1 tomato
Wen water burns out add in tomatoes
Fry on high ..till tomato is cooked
Add chopped greens if u hav
A piece of butter mixed in before serving

A slash of lemon juice again
Enjoy.
