Fish and Prawn Biryani Recipe

Sunnyside classic recipes

 

I used Red Fish

10 slices of fish..medium to thick slices

Marinated in prepared fish Masala of choice

500 g prawns..peeled..marinated in masala

2 and half cups rice..boiled in  salt water

1 cup masoor boiled…salt and little tumeric

3 to 4 potatoes..sliced thick..fried

Half cup boiled tomatoes

1 cup yoghurt

Half cup maas

1 cup fried onions

Prepared fish Masala

 

Flash Fry the marinated Fish and set aside

Flash fry the prawns set aside

Fry potatoes.set aside

Steep 1 tsp saffron..set aside

Boil 4 eggs

 

In a dish add in the tomatoes

The yoghurt and maas

Add 2 full tsp jeeraa

3 tsp salt

1 tsp turmeric/arad

1 tsp crushed red chillies

2 tsp chilli masala paste

1 full tsp crushed garlic

2 tblsp lemon juice

4 tblsp prepared fish masala of choice..either ready made or homemade

Cinnamon..cloves..star anise..elachie

Garum masala

Whole green and red chillies

The fried wagaar

Mint leaves

3 quarter of the saffron water mix

Mix well..

 

In a pot add ghee and oil..6 tblsp

Sprinkle some rice and Masoor

Dip the fish pieces..then place them

Next add the prawns to the masala

Add prawns over the fish

Add the masior to the leftover masala

Add over prawns

Then add potato slices

Top with the rice

Leftover saffron water

Wagaar over ..cover with foil

Steam on stove 30 min

Then in pre heated oven 30 min

Enjoy
