1 kg leg mutton
2 slices bread soaked in ½ cup water
1 Tbsp crushed garlic
1 onion
¼ tsp nutmeg powder
1 Tbsp crushed green chillies
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp salt
½ Tbsp crushed black pepper
Chopped parsley
Method:
Add the ingredients to the mince and mix well. Form frikkadels the size of golf balls and put on an oven tray. Bake on 180 until done. Serve with steam mix vegetables and mash potatoes.
Mixed vegetables
1/2kg frozen mixed vegetables
2 Tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Steam mixed vegetables in butter, salt and pepper until done.
Mashed Potatoes:
6 medium potatoes – peeled and cubed
2 Tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup milk
¼ tsp baking powder
Method:
Boil the potatoes in a little water until soft. Add the rest of ingredients and mash. Serve hot
