6 cups sugar
5 cups water
1 tsp elachi powder
3 tsp jelly red food colouring
3tblsp rose water
•Dissolve sugar in the water over low heat on stove
•Wash and cut lemon in half.
•Add to pot of water
•Bring sugar water to boil not stirring at all
•Keep boiling over medium heat for 10 minutes
•This mixture must be of pourable constancy and not gluey
•Add clouring and rose water.
•Bottle and store
