Indian home remedies for cholesterol.

 

To reduce blood cholesterol levels in your body, you can try some of the home remedies given below.

Drink lots of water everyday. This would keep your body hydrated as well as help in the reduction of bad cholesterol.

Boil 10 pieces of cinnamon sticks in 5 teacups of water. Now, add a tablespoon of honey and mix well. Let it cool down a bit and then drink. Do this twice daily, to stay away from the problem of high blood cholesterol.

High cholesterol level can be reduced by consuming raw onion and the juice extracted from it, in moderation.

Consuming garlic clove everyday helps in reducing cholesterol level in the body.

Immerse 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds in a glass of water. Boil the concoction and allow it to cool. Strain the water and have it three times a day.

In a glassful of milk, add a piece of garlic and boil it. Allow it to cool before drinking. Consume this for a few days. Not only would it reduce cholesterol, but also take care of the cardiac pains.

Persons suffering from high cholesterol should have foods rich in fibre such as raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, broccoli, green beans, etc.
Consume lots of almonds and walnuts. These are helpful in reducing the cholesterol levels.

Persons suffering from high cholesterol levels should have a small bowl of sour milk or yoghurt everyday. This acts favourably in reducing the cholesterol levels.
