3 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp ghee
4 Cups chana flour (chic pea flour)
1 cup ghee
2 cups icing sugar
½ cup ground almonds
½ tsp nutmeg
Method:
Boil milk and the 3 Tbsp ghee add to chana flour and mix well.
In a thick base pot heat the 1 cup ghee then add the chana flour and braise well on a medium heat until golden brown, approximately ½ – a hour.
Remove from heat and add icing sugar, almonds and nutmeg mix well and leave to cool
Form into oblong shapes and wrap in wax paper or set in a tray.
Sprinkle top with roasted slivered almonds
When set cut into blocks.
