Ingredients:
1 kg lamb chops
½ teaspoon gharam masala
3 tablespoons oil
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground garlic
2 teaspoons green pounded chillies
4 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon tandhoori powder
salt to taste
¼ bunch fresh coriander, very finely chopped breadcrumbs
1 egg
Method:
1. Wash and drain the meat well.
2. Make a paste with all the ingredients except the breadcrumbs and egg.
3. Smear the paste well over the chops and leave to marinate well for a few hours.
4. Place the chops in a heavy-based frying pan and cook on slow heat until tender.
5. Remove from heat and let cool.
6. Beat the egg adding a little salt and pepper.
7. Dip the chops firstly in the egg then in the breadcrumbs.
8. Fry on medium heat for a while the drain.
9. Arrange on a serving dish with salad and lemon wedges.
