250g mutton or chicken mince
1 ground green chillies
3 cups chopped methi bhajie
¼ tsp crushed black pepper
½ cup frozen peas
2 tsp ground coriander/dhania
3 potatoes cut into fours
½ tsp whole cumin/jeera
2 large onions sliced
½ tsp turmeric/arad
¼ cup oil
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp garlic paste
1 heaped tsp salt
2 whole dry red chilies
1 tsp fine red chillies
Method:
Heat oil. Add sliced onions and fry until light brown in colour. Add mince, salt,ginger paste,garlic paste and turmeric powder. Cook over medium heat until mince starts to stick at the bottom of the pot. Break mince lumps with the back of a spoon. Thereafter add tomatoes,fine red chilies, ground green chilies, ground coriander powder,whole cumin and frozen peas. Continue cooking over medium heat until all the moisture evaporates. Add 1 cup of water together with methi bhajie and potatoes. Cook until all moisture evaporates and potatoes are cooked through. Garnish with whole dry red chillies and serve together with home made rotis.
