2 Tbsp cake flour
2 Tbsp mealie Meal
4 Tbsp chana flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of arad
½ tsp dhana jeero
1 egg
1 onion
½ dozen methi bhaji
1 Tbsp ghee
1 tsp ground green chillies
Mix dry ingredients together.
Add egg, onion, ghee, chillies and lasty bhaji, to form a sticky paste.
Add only 1- 2 Tbsp of water at a time if necessary.
Form moothias (dumplings) into oblong shapes in the palm of the hand.
Place on top of simmering curry, making sure the curry has enough liquid to steam the moothias.
Close pot and steam for 15 – 20 minutes.
