1 packet Marie biscuits (crushed coarsely)
1/2 cup butter (125g)
4 tsp cocoa powder
2 Tablespoon golden syrup or honey
2 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon milo powder
Pinch of cinnamon
Handful of chopped up dates (optional)
1 slab of dairy milk chocolate
Sprinkles and or Pecans for topping.
On low heat melt the butter, sugar, cocoa, syrup, milo, cinnamon and dates. Add to the crushed Marie mixture till well combined. .Pat into a greased pyrex or square baking pan. Set in the fridge for +- 20min. Melt your choice of dairy milk chocolate slab and spread on set mixture. Decorate with sprinkles and pecans. Put back into fridge for another 20min for chocolate to set. Slice and store in an airtight container.
