2 cups rice
2 Tbsp ghee
2 oranges
1 Tbsp seedless rasins
1 onion
½ cup nuts
½ cup frozen peas
1 stick cinnamon
2 bruised elachi
2 cloves
½ tsp salt
Extract juice of orange cut & peel ½ an orange in finger length strips.
Fry onions in ghee & when begin to turn gold remove onions to drain dry. To oil add nuts rasins and orange peel fry for a min or 2. lift the ingredients but leave ghee in pot.
Fry tuj in ghee for a few sec than add the drained rice and fry for a min or two. Add orange juice and 2 cups of water.and simmer over very low heat till rice is fluffed & soft.
Add peas nuts & rasins and add ½ the fried onions to pot.
Serve garnished with orange peel and the left over onion.
Serve with lamb or curry.
