Paste:
½ box green ribbon noodles
½ box white ribbon noodles
Method;
Boil noodles in rapidly boiling water with1 tsp salt and 1 Tbsp oil- cook until the noodles are al dante.
Steak:
½ kg steak cut into strips as for stir fry
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp ginger/garlic
Olive oil.
Method:
Marinate steak with the spices
Stir fry the steak in olive oil
Once the steak is stir fried, leave aside and make the following sauce.
Sauce:
2 onions
4 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp Italian herbs
1 tsp origanum
1 tsp basil
1 tsp Peri peri sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger / garlic
Method:
Saute onions in a little olive oil, until they soften.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer sauce on low to thicken
When everything is cooked, layer a casserole with the noodles, steak and sauce lastly sprinkle top with grated cheese
Before serving place casserole in a warm oven to heat it.
