2 Cups cake flour
1 tblsp Baking powder
½ tsp Salt
2 tsps Sugar
60g Butter/margarine
1 egg
½ cup milk
Method:
Sift flour and baking powder. Rub butter into flour mixture this will cause mixture to resemble breadcrumbs. Whip egg into milk and pour into flour mixture. This will form a soft dough. Flour surface and press dough down lightly with hand. Cut into rounds. Brush individual scones with a little milk. ake for 12/15 mins at 200c. Serve with jam and cream or just cheese
