1 large chicken ( cut into large pieces)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp jeera powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp poppy seeds
1 Tbsp curd , sour milk
A few drops of red food colouring
Oil for deep frying
Juice of one lemon.
Steam the chicken pieces in little water with saltand chilli powder till nearly done and water dries up. Remove the pieces and apply lemon juice, cumin seeds powder, garam masala powder, kus kus, curd and food colouring and marinate for 2 hours.
Heat oil and fry marinated chicken pieces till golden brown. Serve piping hot.
