Sift together in a bowl:
2 cups cake flour
1 ½ cups castor sugar
3 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Then add:
1 ¼ cup warm water
½ cup oil
5 egg yolks (put whites in a different dish)
• Beat batter till smooth and creamy.
• Whip whites till stiff.
• Fold whites into batter, pour into greased baking pan and bake on 180 for about 20 to 25 min till done.
