Cakes and Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

3 CUPS FLOUR

1 CUP ICING SUGAR

6 TSP BAKING POWDER

¼ lb BUTTER

1 CUP SOUR MILK

1 EGG.

METHOD

PREHEAT OVEN ON 220 DEGRESS. MIX TOGETHER FLOUR, ICING SUGAR , BAKING POWDER AND BUTTER INTO MAGIMIX OR BAKING MACHINE . MIX TOGETHER SOUR MILK AND EGG AND ADD TO ABOVE MIXTURE. MAKE INTO A SOFT DOUGH THEN ROLL AND CUT INTO DESIRED SHAPES. BRUSH EGG ON SCONES AND REDUCE OVEN TO 200 DEGRESS. THEREAFTER BAKE SCONES UNTIL DONE.
