1 ltr milk
3 Tbsp custard powder
Sugar to taste
2 pkts of boudoir biscuits
1 cup fresh cream
1 tub mascarpone cheese
4 eggs separated
1 tsp vanilla essence
2/3 castor sugar
2 Tbsp coffee
1 tsp vanilla essence dissolved in 1 mug of boiling water cocoa for sprinkling.
Method:
Beat egg yolks and castor sugar together very well, then fold in the mascarpone cheese, mix well. Beat egg whites stiffly and beat fresh cream stiffly. Mix beaten egg whites and cream into the egg yolk/ sugar/ cheese mixture ? mix well. Line a bowl of your choice with boudoir biscuits dipped in the mug of coffee. Cover biscuits with half of the filling. Place another layer of dipped biscuits over filling then pour remaining filling over and smoothen it. Finally dust cocoa over and refrigerate.
