Tomato chutney (30.07.09)

 

1 kg ripe tomatoes
2 tblsp sugar
2 tblsp garlic
1 tblsp salt
 
Liquidize tomatoes, strain then boil with all other ingredients until half is left. Cool then add.
 
1 litre tomato sauce (any type)          
1 tblsp crushed jeeru
1 tblsp very hot chilli powder                      
½ cup paprika
                  
1½ cup white vinegar
1 cup hot oil
Mix well, cool, fill in bottles and refrigerate
