parboil 2.5 cups rice…basmati is best for biryani
marinate 1 chicken in:
2 tsp fine red chillies
1 tsp whole jeero
3 tsp red masala
2 tbls lemon juice
1 tsp salt
2 tbls shan bombay biryani spice
5 tbls ghee
2 chopped tomatoes
2 whole green chillies
pinch saffron
1 ½ cups yoghurt
3/4 cup fried onions.
Fry potatoes as you do for biryani. Layer everything in a pot and steam. serve with dhai and papri
