1 chicken
2 onions chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
4 carrots
5 tblsp ghee and oil
1 tsp jeeru
2 tuj
5 cloves
3 tblsp green masala
1 tblsp dry dhana
1 tblsp fresh ginger
3 whole green chillies
salt to taste
method
marinate for potatoes
2 potatoes cut into wedges
salt
black pepper
red chillies
lemon juice
garlic flakes
olive oil
parsley
fry potatoes , mix in above marinate and grill on low heat for 10 minutes.
Method
make vagaar with onions, jeeru and spices. when vagaar is almost done braise green masala, ginger, dry dhana, salt and whole green chillies. add the chicken after the onions and masala is braised. add ½ cup water and leave to burn out. grate carrots on the big side of the grater. when water burns out in the chicken add the tomatoes and carrots and leave to cook for a while. meanwhile soak rice in hot water for about ½ an hour. wash rice and add to chicken. add 3 tsp salt and add water. leavie it on high till water boils. when water boils lower heat and leave to steam. serve with marinated potatoes.
