Ingredients:
2 cups cake flour
2 tsp sugar
1 level tsp salt
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp yeast
½ cup warm milk
Warm water
Mix all ingredients except milk, then make soft dough with milk and leave to rise double its size and knead it again and then divide dough into 8 balls flatten and place on greased tray, brush with egg and sprinkle tal. Bake at 180C until brown.
Beef Patties
Ingredients:
500g beef/ chicken mince
1 large onion cubed
1 level tsp salt
½ tsp geero powder
5 green chillies
2 slices bread white / brown
½ tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp warm oil
Soak bread in water for a few minutes
Squeeze out all the moisture
Mince together beef/ chicken mince ; green chillies; bread and onions mix with rest of ingredients
Divide into 8 balls form into palm size patties, fry in shallow oil or grill.
How to prepare burger:
Slice a bun, spread thinly with butter, layer with a piece of lettuce, beef/ chicken patti spread some chilli sauce and mayonnaise. Add a slice of tomato and onion and a slice of cheese if desired. Close burger and serve.
