SUCCULENT SAUCY STEAK
1tsp fine red chillies
½ tsp lemon pepper
1 full tblspn ginger garlic masala
juice of 1 lemon
1 tblspn white vinegar
¼ cup oil
1 tspn aromat
1 tspn steak n chops spice
1 tspn chicken spice
Marinate steak in above spices for a few hours. Cook on low heat in its own juices, avoid adding water unless necessary. Once steak is cooked n tender add sauce and leave to simmer.
Sauce:
3tblspn mayonnaise
3 tblspn bushveld braai sauce ..Nandos
3tblspn bbq sauce
1 tblspn Tomatoe puree
1 tblsp tomato sauce,
juice of ½ lemon
salt to taste
blob of butter
boil all this together n add to steak n leave to simmer. Thin slices of green pepper can be added to steak when almost done gives a lovely flavour to steak.
TOASTED STEAK
Half kilo minute steak cut into strips
Cook in ghee, salt, pepper n garlic for 7 minutes on medium heat.
Chop 1 onion n dice 1 green pepper
add to steak with 1 tblsp worcestor sauce n 1 tblsp black vinegar cook for further 5 minutes till water is burnt.
Remove from heat n add 2 large curry spoons steers peri peri sauce, 2 large curry spoons tomato sauce n 3 large curry spoons crystal sauce.
cut 3 potatoes thinly for french fries, fry chips n add to steak, butter bread make sandwiches n toast!
Serve hot
MASALA STEAK
1 kg rump steak
1 tsp salt
1 tsp arad
2 tbl dry dhana
2 tbl garlic masala
1 tsp red chillies
1 onion (grated)
1 tomato (grated)
5 tbl lemon juice
5 tbl tomato sauce
Marinate and cook with ghee until done, when almost cooked fry fat chips and add to steak, serve with hot roti and salad
