Quick and easy meals ideal for holiday (07.12.17)

Toasted steak recipe

1/2 kg Steak cut in strips
Cook with 1 tsp ginger garlic masala
1 tsp salt
1 tsp arad
2 tsp dry dhana
5 Tab lemon juice
1 grated onion
1 grated tomato
3 Tab tomatoe puree
Ghee/oil

Once meat is cooked flake meat and add tomato sauce, mayonaise n mustard sauce. Fry chips season with salt, vinegar n red chillies. Put steak , then seasoned chips and grated cheese. Butter the sandwich on both sides and toast . Wrap in foil n serve immediately.

CRUMBED CHICKEN FILLET
1kg chicken fillet cut into strips
Marinade in the following ingredients:

Crushed jeeroo
Mustard powder
Lemon pepper
Chicken spice
Green garlic masala
2 to 3 tblsp milk

Mix in 1 egg for 1 kg chicken fillet
Dust in 1/2 cup self raising flour
1 cup bread crumbs
And 2 tblsp chicken spice. Fry and njoy

KEBABS
500 grams chicken mince
1 onion fried
1 onion grated, squeeze water
crushed jeeru
green chillies & garlic
lemon pepper
1tsp baking powder
cut dhania
salt to taste
squeeze 3 tblsp lemon juice
Mix together as for kebaabs, shape & fry in lemon butter

Sauce:
Melt butter, add garlic flakes, sesame seeds, mustard sauce, peri peri sauce, mayo…boil & pour over sheesh, serve with chips & pita.

ALOO BEDA CURRY
Make a nice tomatoe chutney .Add about 3 potatoes and add to cooked chutney till almost done Then boil about 3 to 4 eggs .Slice eggs in quarters and add to potato curry .Cook for a little while longer till chutney thickens Add chopped green dhania and spring onions Serve with hot rotis

MASH POTATO BHAJIA

Boil and mash 3 potatoes, add 3 tblsp lemon juice, 2 tblsp green chutney,1 tsp salt, heat mustard seeds and curry leaves with a bit of oil and add to the potatoes. Form in to balls and leave to rest.

Make a chana flour paste with 1 cup chana flour, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp red chillies and 1 tsp dry dhana, add enough water to make a runny consistency. Dip potato balls into paste and fry
