Ingredients
1 kilo Lamb Chops
1 large Onion chopped
Salt to taste
1 tblsp red masala
½ tblsp ginger masala
½ tblsp ground garlic
½ tsp arid
1 tblsp dhana jeeroo (dry)
2 cups tomatoes chopped
1 glass plain yoghurt (250ml)
½ cup cashew nut paste (process the nuts with water to make paste)
Method
- Heat a little ghee in pot.
- Add onions and sauté on medium heat till golden brown.
- Add salt, red masala, ginger masala, ground garlic, arid, dhana and allow to cook for a while till properly braised.
- Add the tomatoes and allow to cook through.
- Add cashew nut paste and stir fry until oil separates from the paste
- Finally stir in the yoghurt and simmer for a few minutes.
- Add lamb chops cover and cook till meat is cooked and curry thickens.
- Garnish with chopped coriander
- Serve with Naan
