40 strips of Pur cut into small squares
250g almonds cut in centre
250g pecan nuts sliced in centre
250g large peanuts
Salt to taste
1 tsp paprika or chillie powder
2 fresh green chillies sliced fine into rounds
2 tblsps till – sesame seeds
Few sprigs curry leaves
4 tblsp oil
METHOD
• Fry Pur and drain on thick sheets of newspaper for 8 to 10 hours
• Roast all the nuts separately at 100 degrees. The nuts must be crisp
• Add salt to taste to all the nuts collectively.
• Add the 1tsp paprika of red chillie powder to the nuts
• Make a vagaar of the sliced green chillies, tal and curry leaves.
• Add the vagaar to the nuts.
• Add the fried pur to the nuts and toss lightly.
