Russian caramels

Ingredients:

 

125g butter

400g condensed milk

2 tablespoons golden syrup

¾ cup brown sugar

 

Method:

Line pan with foil. Combine all ingredients in a pot . Stir over heat, without boiling, until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to boil, whisk until thick and dark caramel in colour. Pour in foiled pan. Mark into squares with greased knife. Cool, refrigerate until set.
