Spaghetti Rice recipe – 12 March 2014

3 cups rice (boil with pinch of arad and jeeru). Leave aside

  1. 1 kg chicken fillet (cubed)
  2. 1 onion (chopped)
  3. 3 tblsp ginger garlic masala
  4. 1 tsp whole jeeru
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. ½ tsp arad/turmeric
  7. 1 tblsp dry dhana
  8. 3 tomatoes (grated or liquidized)
  9. 5 tblsp tomato puree
  10. 4 to 5 tblsp ghee and oil
  11. ½ pkt spaghetti (boiled)
  12. 4 large potatoes (grated and fried seperately)

•    Make vagaar with onions, jeeru and oil.
•    Braise masala and spices then add chicken fillet.
•    Cook till water is burnt out, add tomato and tomato puree and cook further.
•    Add about 1 cup water with spaghetti, cook till nice and thick.
•    Serve with rice and potato.
•    Garnish with greens and serve.
